Method
Preparing the Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the seasoned chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.
- 5
Drain the Wings
Using a slotted spoon, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Preparing the Veggie Sticks
- 6
Serving the Wings
- 7
Arrange and Serve
Once the wings are drained and the veggie sticks are cut, arrange them on a platter. Serve the wings hot with your choice of sauce and the veggie sticks on the side.
