Prepare Taco Beef

Cook Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, for about 5-7 minutes.

Add Taco Seasoning
Drain excess fat from the skillet. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir well and let simmer for about 10 minutes, until the mixture thickens.

Add Jalapeños and Thicken
Stir in the finely chopped jalapeños. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water to create a slurry and add it to the cheese mixture. Stir until the queso thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Assemble Taco Nachos

Layer Ingredients
On a large platter or baking sheet, spread a layer of tortilla chips as the base.

Add Taco Beef
Evenly distribute the prepared taco beef over the tortilla chips.

Drizzle White Queso
Pour the warm white queso over the taco beef.

Top with Shredded Cheese
Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.

Finish by adding shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, sliced jalapeños, guacamole, and taco sauce to your liking.
