Shrimp Preparation

Prepare the Shrimp
In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Coat the Shrimp
Dip each shrimp into the beaten egg and then coat it in the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is well covered.

Fry the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated shrimp in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Assemble the Tacos
Layer each tortilla with shredded lettuce, a generous serving of fried shrimp, diced tomatoes, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and a drizzle of chili lime aioli.
