Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and scrub the little neck clams under cold water to remove any sand. Rinse the shrimp and set aside. Cut the smoked sausage into 1-inch pieces and set aside. Quarter the potatoes if they are large and halve the corn ears.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Cook the Potatoes

In a large pot, bring the seafood broth to a boil. Add the quartered potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until they start to become tender.

  2. 3

    Add the Smoked Sausage

Add the smoked sausage pieces to the pot and continue to boil for another 5 minutes.

  3. 4

    Add Seafood

Add the snow crab clusters, shrimp, and little neck clams to the pot. Sprinkle the Old Bay seasoning over the top. Cover and simmer for about 8-10 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and the clams have opened.

  4. 5

    Add Corn

Finally, add the corn halves and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the corn is tender.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Seafood Steam Pot

Carefully remove the pot from heat. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the seafood, sausage, potatoes, and corn to a large serving platter. Drizzle melted butter over the top and serve with cocktail sauce on the side.
