Shrimp Preparation
1. Prepare the Shrimp
In a bowl, combine the shrimp, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat the shrimp evenly.

In one bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In another bowl, place the cornstarch. In a third bowl, pour the beaten egg.
3. Bread the Shrimp
Dredge each shrimp in flour, shaking off excess. Dip in the egg, then coat with cornstarch, pressing gently to adhere.
Cooking the Shrimp
4. Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
