Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Slice the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide. Place them in a bowl and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to ensure all pieces are evenly coated. Let the chicken marinate for about 15 minutes.

Prepare the Breading Station
In three shallow bowls, set up your breading station. In the first bowl, add the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed. In the third bowl, combine the bread crumbs, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Bread the Chicken
Take each marinated chicken strip and first coat it in flour, shaking off any excess. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken strip in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the chicken. Repeat this process for all chicken strips.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken strips, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 5
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken strips from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
