Cajun Alfredo Sauce

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguini

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cooking Seafood

  1. 2

    Sauté the Seafood

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the shrimp and scallops. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turns pink and the scallops are opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Making Cajun Alfredo Sauce

  1. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.

  2. 4

    Add Seasoning and Cheese

Stir in the Cajun seasoning, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Toss Everything Together

Add the cooked linguini, sautéed shrimp and scallops, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced red onion to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the Cajun Alfredo sauce and the vegetables are evenly distributed.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Hot

Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning if desired.
