Method
Preparation of the Boneless Buffalo Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Make the Coating
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- 3
Pre-soak the Chicken
Pour the buttermilk over the chicken pieces, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
Cooking the Wings
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Dredge the Chicken
Remove chicken pieces from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- 6
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the coated chicken pieces in the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Making the Buffalo Sauce
- 7
Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well and heat until warmed through.
Combining and Serving
- 8
Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the fried chicken with the Buffalo sauce. Toss until all pieces are well-coated.
- 9
Serve
Serve the Boneless Buffalo Wings with french fries and your choice of dipping sauce. Enjoy!
