Method
Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prep the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken halves dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Chicken
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken halves.
- 3
Roast the Chicken
Place the chicken halves on a baking sheet, skin side up. Roast in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). In the last 10 minutes, brush BBQ sauce over the chicken.
Ribs Preparation
- 4
Prep the Ribs
While the chicken is roasting, prepare the ribs. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- 5
Season the Ribs
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the ribs.
- 6
French Fries Preparation
- 7
Prep the Potatoes
While the chicken and ribs are cooking, wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even strips.
- 8
Fry the Potatoes
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potato strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
- 9
Season the Fries
Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Immediately sprinkle with salt to taste.
