Method
Grilled Cheese
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Start by cooking the bacon until crispy. While it's cooking, slice the tomato into thin slices and set aside.
- 2
Assemble the Sandwich
On two slices of bread, layer two slices of American cheese, followed by two slices of bacon, and then the tomato slices. Top with the remaining two slices of cheese and close with the second slice of bread.
- 3
Butter the Bread
Spread butter on the outside of both slices of bread to ensure a golden-brown crust when grilled.
- 4
- 5
Slice and Serve
Once grilled, remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve immediately.
House Cut Chips
- 6
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into thin wedges or chips, leaving the skin on for added texture.
- 7
Season the Chips
In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- 8
Bake the Chips
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
- 9
Serve with the Sandwich
Once the chips are done, remove them from the oven and serve them alongside the Bacon & Tomato Grilled Cheese sandwich.
