Preparing the Beef Filling

Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until softened.

Add Ground Beef
Increase heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it up with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Season the Beef
Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef and mix well. Add a splash of water if needed to help the seasoning blend. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Fill the Tacos
Place a generous spoonful of the beef filling onto each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and shredded cheese.

Add a dollop of sour cream, sprinkle with chopped cilantro, and finish with a squeeze of lime juice.
