Wings and Sauce

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, combine flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken wings in the seasoned flour until well coated.

  2. 2

    Fry the Wings

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Make the Voodoo Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in hot sauce and honey. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. 4

    Toss Wings in Sauce

In a large bowl, combine the fried wings with the voodoo sauce. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the voodoo wings hot with bleu cheese dressing, ranch dressing, or both on the side.
