Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combine
Add the cooked fettuccine and sautéed shrimp to the cream sauce. Toss until the pasta and shrimp are well coated in the sauce.

Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
