Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Season both sides with blackening seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Sear the Chicken

Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken tenders and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and blackened. Remove from skillet and let rest.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and chopped bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.

  5. 5

    Make the Sauce

Reduce heat to medium, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  6. 6

    Combine Everything

Slice the seared chicken into strips. Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
