Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a better sear.

Make the Seasoning
In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.

Season the Chicken
Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

Cook the Chicken
Once the oil is hot and shimmering, add the chicken breasts. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are blackened and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).

Rest and Serve
Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
