Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a better sear.

  2. 2

    Make the Seasoning

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.

  3. 3

    Season the Chicken

Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

  4. 4

    Heat the Griddle

Heat a cast iron griddle over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

  5. 5

    Cook the Chicken

Once the oil is hot and shimmering, add the chicken breasts. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are blackened and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
