Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Wash and Dry the Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and thoroughly pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Coat the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Add the wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated in the flour mixture.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the coated wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry the wings for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Making the Sauces

  1. 5

    Honey Sriracha Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. 6

    Signature Hot Sauce

In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the hot sauce, vinegar, and garlic powder. Mix well and keep warm.

  3. 7

    BBQ Bourbon Glaze

In another saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, bourbon, brown sugar, and mustard. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Preparing the Dip

  1. 8

    Make the Dip

In a mixing bowl, combine the bleu cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, walnuts, garlic powder, milk, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  2. 9

    Serve

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Serving the Wings

  1. 10

    Toss the Wings in Sauce

Choose your desired sauce (Honey Sriracha, Signature Hot Sauce, or BBQ Bourbon Glaze) and toss the fried wings in the sauce until evenly coated.

  2. 11

    Plate and Serve

Serve the sauced wings hot on a platter with the roasted walnut bleu cheese dip on the side.
