Method
Prepare the MT Bourbon Glaze

Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ground black pepper.

Simmer the Glaze
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the glaze thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.
Cook the Burger Patties

Season the Beef
In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper until well combined.

Form Patties
Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

Cook the Patties
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
Cook the Bacon and Onion Rings

Cook the Bacon
In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

Prepare the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns in the skillet or toaster.

Layer Ingredients
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, the burger patty with melted cheese, bacon, pickles, and finally, an onion ring on top.

Place the top half of the bun over the stacked ingredients and press gently. Serve immediately with your favorite side.
