Steak Marinade
Taco Assembly
Method
Steak Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Steak
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed. Place the steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish, then pour the marinade over the steak. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- 2
Grill the Steak
Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
