Roasting the Turkey
Prepare and roast the turkey for the sandwich.

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

Rinse the whole turkey under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.

Rub the turkey with olive oil, then sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder all over the turkey.

Place the turkey breast-side up in a roasting pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.

Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
