Preparation Directions

1

Prepare the Pickles

In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar and salt dissolve. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

2

Pickle the Vegetables

Slice the cucumber and carrots into thin rounds or sticks. Place them in a clean jar and pour the pickling liquid over them. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

3

Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 9-12 minutes. Remove from heat, transfer to an ice bath, and let cool before peeling.

4

Assemble the Charcuterie Board

On a large wooden board or platter, arrange the cured meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, pickled vegetables, mustard, and crackers or bread. Garnish with fresh herbs for an appealing presentation.
