Instructions

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2

Prepare the Skillet

In an oven-safe skillet (10-12 inches), melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

3

Mix Sugars

Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar to the melted butter, stirring until well combined.

4

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

5

Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

6

Fold in Chocolate Chips

Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

7

Spread the cookie dough evenly in the skillet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

8

Serve

Remove from oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top and drizzle with caramel sauce.
