Prepare the Pie Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and set aside.

Mix the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, bourbon, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Add Pecans
Fold in the chopped pecans into the filling mixture.

Bake the Pie
Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned.

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before serving.

Slice the pie and serve warm or at room temperature with caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
