Hummus Preparation

Prepare Chickpeas
Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water. Set aside.

Blend Ingredients
In a food processor, add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic cloves, olive oil, cumin, salt, and water.

Blend Until Smooth
Process the mixture until smooth and creamy. If it's too thick, add a little more water until desired consistency is reached.

Serve
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley.

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

Knead Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Shape and Grill
After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten into a disk. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook each piece for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown with grill marks.

Serve the warm grilled naan with the hummus for dipping.
