Prepare the Green Beans
Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.

Blanch the Green Beans
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for about 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.

Make the Sauce
In a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Toss the Green Beans
Add the blanched green beans to the pan and toss to coat them evenly in the spicy sauce. Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Transfer the spicy green beans to a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
