Swordfish Marinade and Preparation

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Marinate the Swordfish

In a bowl, combine the yogurt, chili powder, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Coat the Fish

Place the swordfish steaks in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Swordfish

Remove the swordfish from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the swordfish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
