Dry Rub Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dry Rub

In a bowl, combine paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, oregano, and thyme. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    Season the Wings

Sprinkle the dry rub evenly over the chicken wings. Toss to coat thoroughly.

  4. 4

    Cook the Wings

Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the wings in a single layer on the grill or a baking sheet. Cook for 25-30 minutes or until the wings are crispy and cooked through, flipping halfway.

  5. 5

Make the Alabama White BBQ Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the wings from the grill or oven. Serve hot with Alabama white BBQ sauce on the side for dipping. Garnish with chopped scallions.
