Fried Ravioli

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ravioli

If using frozen ravioli, cook them according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second bowl, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Ravioli

Dip each ravioli first in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

  4. 4

    Fry the Ravioli

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded ravioli in batches, frying them for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

Prepare the Zesty Tomato Basil Sauce

In a saucepan, heat tomato sauce over medium heat. Stir in chopped basil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the fried ravioli and serve with the zesty tomato basil sauce on the side. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
