Prepare the Barrel-Aged Mixture
Combine the Journeyman Rye Whiskey, Dolin Sweet Vermouth, and bitters in a mixing glass. Stir well and pour the mixture into a small barrel to age for 7 weeks.

Mix the Cocktail
After aging, fill a mixing glass with ice. Pour in 2 oz of the barrel-aged mixture, and stir until well chilled.

Garnish
Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a twist of orange peel. Serve immediately.
