Blondie Base
Method
Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
Make the Blondie Batter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Bake the Blondies
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool and Top
Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Once cooled, layer the potato chips, pecan crunch, and drizzle with salted caramel sauce over the top.
Serve with Ice Cream
Cut into squares and serve warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream on the side.
