Wash the Oranges
Thoroughly wash the fresh oranges under cold running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.

Cut the Oranges
Using a sharp knife, cut each orange in half horizontally to prepare for juicing.
Juicing

Juice the Oranges
Using a cold-press juicer, juice the halved oranges. If you do not have a juicer, you can use a manual citrus juicer or reamer.

Strain the Juice (optional)
If you prefer pulp-free juice, pour the freshly squeezed juice through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.

Add Sugar (optional)
If you like your juice sweeter, add sugar to taste and stir well until dissolved.

Pour the fresh squeezed orange juice into glasses over ice, if desired, and serve immediately for the best flavor.
