Prepare the Pesto
In a food processor, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the Orzo
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the orzo and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with a few tablespoons of the basil pesto.

Pan-Seer the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through.

Serve
Plate the basil pesto orzo, top with the pan-seared salmon, and serve alongside the grilled asparagus.
