Tandoori Chicken

Method

Preparation and Cooking

1

Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cayenne, and salt. Add the half chicken and coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 48 hours.

2

Preheat the Broiler

When ready to cook, preheat your oven's broiler on high.

3

Prepare the Chicken for Broiling

Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Brush with olive oil.

4

Broil the Chicken

Place the chicken on a broiler pan and broil for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice char.

5

Serve

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with Zesty Potatoes and Kale Salad.
