Prepare the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.

Add the Sauce
Pour the tomato sauce over the cooked meatballs, reduce the heat, and let simmer for 15 minutes.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the meatballs and sauce. Cover the skillet and let cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
