Method

Cheese Mixture Preparation

  1. 1

    Mixing the Cheese

In a mixing bowl, combine the Crescenza cheese, mascarpone cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Use a spatula to blend the cheeses until smooth and creamy.

Basil Oil Preparation

  1. 2

    Infusing the Oil

In a small saucepan, gently heat the olive oil over low heat. Add the fresh basil leaves and let them infuse for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Serving Preparation

  1. 3

    Preparing the Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick pieces. Toast the pieces in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden.

  2. 4

    Assembling the Dish

Spread a generous amount of the cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice. Drizzle a small amount of the infused basil oil over the cheese.

  3. 5

    Serving

Arrange the prepared Salva Cremasco on a serving platter and garnish with additional fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
