Brioche French Toast
Seasonal Fruit
Method
Preparing the Brioche French Toast
- 1
Prepare the custard mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- 2
Soak the brioche
Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for 20-30 seconds on each side until it's well coated.
- 3
Cook the French toast
In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the soaked brioche slices and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more butter as necessary.
- 4
Serve
Place the cooked French toast on plates and drizzle with maple syrup. Serve warm.
Preparing the Seasonal Fruit
- 5
Prepare the fruit
Wash the strawberries and blueberries thoroughly. Hull the strawberries and slice them. Peel and slice the banana.
- 6
Serve with French toast
Arrange the prepared seasonal fruit on the side of the French toast on each plate.
