Mix Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine the whole milk, heavy cream, and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm, but not boiling.

Cook the Mixture
Return the combined mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Chill and Churn
Remove from heat, let cool, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before churning in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine water, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt.

Heat Mixture
Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and cocoa powder are fully dissolved.

Cool and Freeze
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool before transferring to a container and freezing until solid, about 4-6 hours.
Strawberry Sorbet Preparation

Prepare Strawberries
Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. Blend them in a blender until smooth.

In a bowl, combine the strawberry puree, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and water. Mix until the sugar is fully dissolved.
