Syrup Ingredients

Carbonated Water Ingredients

Method

Syrup Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. 2

    Add Flavorings

Once the sugar is dissolved, stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa powder, citric acid, phosphoric acid, and the natural cola flavoring. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Simmer

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and let it simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

    Cool the Syrup

Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the syrup to cool completely. Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove any solids.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Combine Syrup and Water

In a large pitcher, mix the cooled syrup with the carbonated water. Stir gently to combine without losing carbonation.

  2. 6

    Taste Test

Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or acidity as desired by adding more syrup or a splash of lemon juice.

  3. 7

    Serve

Pour the Galvanina Cola into glasses filled with ice and enjoy immediately.
