Scoop 2 cups of vanilla gelato into serving glasses or bowls.

Brew the Espresso
Brew 1 cup of espresso coffee using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker. If desired, add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the hot espresso to sweeten.

Pour the hot espresso over the scoops of vanilla gelato immediately after brewing. The hot espresso will melt the gelato slightly, creating a delicious mix of flavors.
