Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Edamame

Rinse the edamame under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris.

  2. 2

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  3. 3

    Steam the Edamame

Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed edamame to the pot. Cover the pot with a lid and steam for about 5-6 minutes until the edamame is bright green and tender.

  4. 4

    Drain and Season

Carefully drain the edamame in a colander. While they are still hot, sprinkle with 1 tsp of sea salt, tossing to ensure even seasoning.

  5. 5

    Serve

Transfer the edamame to a serving bowl and enjoy warm as a light snack or appetizer.
