Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prep Irish Moss

Rinse 1 cup of Irish moss thoroughly under cold running water to remove any sand or debris. Soak it in a bowl of water for 12-24 hours until it softens and expands.

  2. 2

    Blend Ingredients

After soaking, drain the Irish moss and place it in a blender. Add 2 cups of fresh water, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 cup of almond butter, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt.

  3. 3

    Blend Until Smooth

Blend all the ingredients on high speed until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more water to reach your desired texture.

  4. 4

    Taste and Adjust

Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or flavor by adding more maple syrup, vanilla extract, or cinnamon if necessary. Blend again to combine.

  5. 5

    Chill and Serve

Pour the mixture into a serving bowl or jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled as a healthy dessert or snack.
