Oysters

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Oysters

Rinse the fresh oysters under cold water to remove any grit. Scrub the shells with a brush to ensure they are clean.

  2. 2

    Arrange Oysters

On a baking sheet, spread the rock salt to create a bed. Place the cleaned oysters on top of the rock salt, ensuring they are level.

Topping Preparation

  1. 3

    Sauté Aromatics

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and shallots, sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant and softened.

  2. 4

    Add Spinach

Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

  3. 5

    Mix Topping Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the sautéed spinach mixture with breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Baking

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 7

    Top the Oysters

Spoon the topping mixture generously over each oyster.

  3. 8

    Bake Oysters

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the topping is golden and bubbling.

  4. 9

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the oysters Rockefeller hot!
