Mixing the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Wild Turkey 101 Rye, 1 oz of Carpano Antica Vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.

Chilling the Mixture
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Straining the Cocktail
Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.

Garnishing
Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a strip of orange peel. Optionally, express the orange peel over the drink to release its oils before placing it in the glass.
