Method

Main Dish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

Rinse the Lake Superior whitefish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the fish fillets and let them marinate for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated fish fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 4

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a large pot, cover with water, and add a generous pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 5

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Grilled Onions & Tomatoes

  1. 6

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the onion and tomatoes into thick slices.

  2. 7

    Grill the Vegetables

In a bowl, toss the onion and tomato slices with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are tender and have grill marks.
