Garlic Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Frog Legs

  1. 1

    Clean the Frog Legs

Rinse the frog legs under cold water to remove any impurities. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Coating

In a shallow bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper together. In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.

  3. 3

    Coat the Frog Legs

Dip each frog leg first into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat in the flour mixture. Ensure they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  2. 5

    Pan-Fry the Frog Legs

Carefully add the coated frog legs to the skillet in a single layer. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 7

    Add Garlic and Parsley

Finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the melted butter. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then, add the chopped fresh parsley and lemon juice.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Place the pan-fried frog legs on a serving platter and drizzle with the garlic butter sauce. Serve hot.
