For the Firecracker Shrimp
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
In a medium bowl, season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, place flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and Panko breadcrumbs in the third.
- 3
Bread the Shrimp
Dip each shrimp first in flour, shaking off excess, then in egg, and finally coat with Panko breadcrumbs. Ensure they are well coated.
- 4
Fry the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded shrimp in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- 5
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and lime juice. Heat over medium heat, stirring until well combined and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Toss the fried shrimp in the Sriracha-garlic sauce or serve the sauce on the side for dipping.
