Directions

1

Prepare the Avocado Crema

In a bowl, mix the mashed avocado, lime juice, olive oil, and black pepper. Set aside.

2

Make the Beer Batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and beer. Whisk until smooth and let it rest for about 10 minutes.

3

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

4

Fry the Calamari

Dip the calamari rings into the beer batter, allowing excess to drip off, and carefully drop them into the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

5

Assemble the Salad

In a large serving bowl, combine mixed greens, pepperoncini, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and toasted almonds. Toss gently.

6

Serve

Plate the fried calamari on top of the salad, drizzle with the avocado crema, and serve immediately.
