Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and bell peppers. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sautéed vegetables, pomodoro sauce, and pesto. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a greased baking dish, layer half of the pasta mixture. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top. Add the remaining pasta mixture and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

  5. 5

    Bake

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious baked ziti!
