Baking Instructions

1

Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

3

Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, melted butter, and milk until smooth.

4

Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

5

Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.

6

Prepare the Fudge

While the cake is baking, prepare your fudge topping by melting 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.

7

Serve

Once the cake is done, let it cool for a few minutes, then pour the warm fudge over the top and serve immediately.
