Preparation

Clean the Oysters

Rinse the oysters under cold running water to remove any sand or debris. Scrub the shells with a brush if necessary.

Prepare the Steamer

Fill a pot with 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil. Place a steaming rack in the pot.

Arrange the Oysters

Once the water is boiling, carefully place the cleaned oysters on the steaming rack with the cupped side down.

Add Toppings

Choose your desired topping (Cajun, Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper, or Hook Reel Special Blend) and sprinkle it generously over the oysters.

Steam the Oysters

Cover the pot and steam the oysters for about 5-7 minutes or until the shells open. Discard any oysters that do not open.

Serving

Serve and Enjoy

Carefully remove the oysters from the pot and serve them hot. Enjoy with lemon wedges on the side.
