Seafood Spaghetti Marinara
Method
Cooking Instructions
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Seafood
Add the shrimp and mussels to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp is pink and the mussels have opened.
Combine with Marinara Sauce
Pour in the marinara sauce and stir to combine. Let simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Mix with Spaghetti
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and gently toss to coat the pasta with the sauce and seafood. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve
Serve the seafood spaghetti hot, garnished with grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
